JB Contracting is a rapidly growing contractor to the Mining and Civil Earthworks Industry across the goldfields of WA and the Pilbara.

We are seeking experienced Plant operators with demonstrable experience operating Heavy Civil Plant machinery including:

• Excavator up to 20-35 tonne.

• Front End Loader.

• Telescopic Handler.

• Grader

• Heavy Rigid Truck/ Multi Combination Truck

• Skid Steer Loader.

Candidates will preferably have plant tickets/licences to support their demonstration of competency in the above equipment, but those candidates with extensive experience operating the above equipment with who are prepared to undergo certification processes are also encouraged to apply.

Applicants who possess multiple plant machinery skills and/or HC/MC Truck licence (Road Ranger Gear Box Experience) will be viewed favourably.

The successful candidate(s) will be well organised self starters with strong interpersonal communication skills and an aptitude to learn. You will need to demonstrate a “can do” attitude and be able to pass and maintain Pre Employment Medical checks and Drug and Alcohol tests. 

Key Skills and experience include:

• Rights to work in Australia

• National Police Clearance (mandatory)

• Able to pass Drug and Alcohol tests on an ongoing basis.

• Minimum HR drivers licence (MC preferred)

• Proven and demonstrable plant operations experience.

• WA Based employees preferred.

A flexible FIFO roster is offered ex Perth, ideally as a 2:1.
